I am now watching the game again as I watched it in Vegas with no sound. I am just wondering how third down for what play out. Did it get the crowd pumped up or did it seem to fall flat? Did they play it all the time?

I wasn't at the game, but from the TV it seemed to kinda fade out as the game went on. But so did the overall excitement. I think that's something that has more of an effect IN neyland. Jmo.

I was at the game sat and everybody still seemed to get into it...as the game went on people seemed a little less enthuastic but keep in mind it was brutally hot and we had the big delay.. I think it still fires the crowd up. Maybe after this year we need something different, but I think people will still get into it this year..jmo

People who worry about it worry too much. It's a background noise nowadays.

After the first few times, at Neyland, I hardly even notice it. I get tunnel vision on the game. I am the same with uniforms. I will talk all summer about uniforms, but after kickoff, I only see player numbers.

So long as the players & fans enjoy it, fine. A group of kids were really getting into it at the game in Nashville. As for me? :ermm: meh

It went over in Nashville like a loud cabbage fart in church... Time to put it to bed

The crowd was into it at first but it started to get old fast with most everybody. My daughter was still in to it every time they played it though, so it's all good.

That song has a short shelf-life. 2-3 times a game max! After about half-a-dozen times most fans just paid it no mind. Some folks threw a half a$$'d hand in the air but that's about it.

That terrible "Smokey's Growl" from 10yrs ago was less annoying than year 2 of 3rd Down for What. Hell, at least it was an attempt to be original.

Dude. People just bounce their hands up and down and dance like that has any freakin effect on the other team. People need to make noise!

Be truthful, do you think it helps us or encourages the other team, 3rd down for what?
