Is Hardesty hurt?
Coker is off the team.

So that would leave Foster and Creer. Foster will need breaks. So is Creer the only other tailback we would use?

FWIW, Olasimbo had a great spring game. Although Sat is hardly the time to build up his number of carries for the regular season.

from Phil's interview on utsports:

A - "Physically, we're in pretty good shape. Even tailback Montario Hardesty might be available. Mentally, I saw an enthusiastic group Sunday night at our first practice for the championship game. They are very resilient and well-conditioned young men."

I read somewhere Fulmer said Hardesty may go. They won't know for sure until game day.

Man what an opportunity for Olasimbo if Hardesty is a no go (latest word is ?). Kid looked real good in the spring. I believe that he is a senior as well, best of luck to him if he sees the field this week.

Ah, I don't really know this Olasimbo kid, but I would hope Creer gets any carries that don't go to Foster.

No offense to Olasimbo, but it would be shocking if he got any meaningful carries. Foster and Creer should be able to get it done. I only hope we are in a position to have the problem of running backs being tired from keeping the clock running. I like our chances in a slower paced close game. (As opposed to a shootout)

Rogan is going to have to see a lot of time at corner as the 1st sub since Vinson's shoulder is hurting more than ever now.

Fulmer and Cut both said yesterday at the Media Day that if it came down to it, Daryl Vereen would get in the game, regardless of the redshirt since it is the SECCG.

They also said Cooper would be next followed by Roy O.

I don't see a problem even if Hardesty can't play. Sure, it will be nice to have him just in case Foster were to get injured or something, but the way I see it, the more carries Foster gets the better he gets.

I think Rogan will do a fine job as a corner.
