These are the reasons we have NO CHANCE against Florida......

1. We have a new coach, and no one knows if his style will work in the SEC.
2. Florida is the best team in the country.
3. It is at their home.
4. They are loaded with future professional players.
5. They are going to win the national championship.
6. They have the best coach in the country.
7. We are coming off a VERY bad year, and our head coach was fired.
8. We have the same players as last year.

This is all VERY legit arguments, and this is why Bruce Pearl in his first year cannot beat the MIGHTY GATORS.....
......right? Sound familiar? Remember those days? It sounds to me like an awful lot of similarities between Bruce Pearl's first year, and Lane Kiffin's first. I say the H*ll with the Gators, let's just play the game. The balls, whether basket or foot, have ways of taking funny bounces, and the best team isn't always the "best" team. If it all played out on paper, we wouldn't have lost 7 last year. GO VOLS!!!!

Hell yea, I'm with you.

ahhh, the old jort reference.

there is nothing about tennessee that will scare me until at least 2011, maybe 2012.

Way to conveniently ignore the reference to your girlfriend's fat arms. I'll take that as a "yes."

You may not be scared of UT's DB's, but I have a feeling that Tebow will be thinking three or four times before pointing that slow release in the direction of Mr. Berry. I believe he tried that once when Mr. Berry was a mere youngling, and, if I recall, he ended up getting shaken out of his shoes about three seconds later by the skinny true freshman.

I'm not saying we beat yall. But you and the other dude on here implying that Florida beat us by throwing the ball into our secondary is just outlandish. You won off four yard bubble screens to Harvin that turned into big gains and Tebow carries that moved the chains. And that's a perfectly legitimate way to win.

All that being said -- B.A. -- I stand by my original statement: With Florida passing against UT's secondary. UT has the edge.

Off topic: Urban Meyer has the weakest chin I have maybe ever seen. Its like it doesnt' even exist. He should seriously consider getting implants. Perhaps he could borrow some flesh from your girlfriends arms. Just a thought. I'm trying to make the world a better place for everybody.

Try reading the post again. Read it real hard and careful. This may be tough for you. Try to figure out the points I am making and the conclusions I am drawing.

After you do all that, ask yourself if your last post is in any way responsive to mine.

And, no, I don't give you a free pass on reading comprehension because you have on body paint. You aren't hot enough.

My reading comprehension is just fine, thank you.

1. for the record, i have the fat arms. my girlfriend has the jorts. you just got it mixed up.

2. i made the statement that eric berry is a once in a generation player. it's the rest of the secondary that no one is afraid of.

3. i never made any statements regarding how florida will beat tennessee. personnally, i think florida rams it down tennessee's throat. that wouldn't be because they are afraid to throw it. it's because you have a walk-on at middle lb and a d-tackle with no knees. but, florida should be able to do what it wants when it wants as they are superior at just about every position. eric berry is the only player at tennessee who starts at florida. (yes, rico mccoy would be a backup too)

4. if all you think florida does is throw bubble screens, you don't watch florida play very often. go watch the 2008 SEC title game. there was no percy harvin that day and there weren't any bubble screens thrown that day either.

5. the urban meyer joke is weak. you can do better.

I don't understand how anyone can think that Tennessee has the advantage when UF is passing the ball. Tim Tebow has a 65% career completion percentage and only throws an INT once in every 62 attempts, which is by far the best in the SEC EVER.

The guy has 67 TD throwing to 11 INTs in 681 attempts.
His PE rating is over 170 for his career.

The Eric Berry INT was a good play, and I know a lot of UT fans hang their hat on that. But how can you blame Tebow for then sophomore Riley Cooper breaking off his route?

Also, Tebow was 14-19, 299 yards and 2 TDs passing in that game in 2007.
And even last year, he was 8-15 for 96 yards and 2 TDs.

So I don't know where you are coming from.

Way to go out on a limb. Berry is a great player and no QB in his right mind would want to throw in his direction. As for Bery's interception as a freshman, Riley Cooper botched the route and Berry was the benificiary.

Aside from Mr. Berry, your secondary does not pose much of a threat and Superman will get his yards and the Gators will get their points. UT has no edge- the game stats and scoreboard on Sept. 19th will prove you to be nothing more than a big talker.

Why does everyone that doesn't watch Florida play think that UF only runs screens and short passes? UF runs a lot of posts, corners, go, and flag routes. The deep comeback and then stop and go are used often too. It's not like UF runs the old Zooker offense with OJ Small and Kelvin Kight.

In fact, many UF fans have often wondered why UF doesn't use MORE WR and RB screens since they have so many play makers and so many teams blitz to get to Tebow.

So because they were in the NC game they don’t count or something?!?

Tebow only threw 2 INT's in the SEC schedule last year. Pretty impressive considering some of the defenses in the league last year. But he threw 4 total.

Please post some clips of those go routes. I am interested in seeing how many you can find.

Go to planetgator and watch the games. Many of the clips on youtube have been deleted because of the new media rules.

Don't just watch where the ball is thrown. But also the other WR's. Look at the Alabama game for example.

Louis Murphy killed them on a deep route like that. Riley cooper brought in a 51 yarder. Aaron Hernandez had a big play down the middle in the 4th quarter. That's just off the top of my head from ONE game.
