1) ...for all the Big 10 fans that said that Ohio State was obviously the best team in the nation.

2) ...for all the Michigan fans that claimed that they should get a rematch against Ohio State for the national title because Michigan was obviously the second best team in the nation.

3) ...for all the orange tinted glasses wearing UT fans that claimed that Urban Meyer ("Urban Myth" as all of you like to call him) would never be able to win in the SEC and would never amount to anything in this conference.

I hope Fulmer took notes, thats the way you prepare to play a Big Ten team in a bowl game numb nuts.

No. The best way is clearly to let your most dynamic player ride the bench, be unaggressive on defense, and run trick plays with less than middle school quality execution.

LOL, don't be too hard on yoursevles. I wasn't sold on any of this either, and I'm a Gator fan. Yesterday I expressed serious misgivings about the game. Trust me when I say that everyone is very surprised at the outcome. Especialy after the opening kick off.

We will see what he does with his own talent. Jury is still out in my book.

Troy Smith has never faced a D line like that.

I especiallly agree with point #2. The Bob Davies of the world that thought that michigan should be playing for the championship should be subjected to some variety of public humiliation.

congrats on the lopsided W and the NC. I was rooting for florida because of my massive dislike for osu. I actually expected the gators to win in a close game (i bet the moneyline), but i was not prepared for the football tutorial that was put on display.

Ridiculous.

I remember in 98, Houston Nutt was playing with the previous coaches talent and were 8&0 before playing the vols they played us right down to a fumbled snap of beating us, after that game they lost focus and lost a couple more games, but if they had won it they probably have been playing for the NC. Nutt has followed that up with serveral loosing seasons. He would have lost his job this year if not for Mcfaddon. He and Meyer both had pretty good first and second seasons, Ill eat my crow next year if cUM has any more than 8 wins. I bet that zook would have had a similar year if allowed to stay. Look at Miles, we all know he is an idiot, but he had enough talent to win games, Also someone elses.

Call it Gator hatred, but I refuse to acknowledge CUM until I have to.

I actually watched that opening return and said to myself.."that is exactly what Florida needed to see. Game on."..
With all due respect, I don't think they needed that - they were ready long before the opening kick-off. Two weeks ago, after a Gator fan friend said he just hoped his team didn't get embarrassed, I told him this game had all the earmarks of the UT-Miami 85 Sugar Bowl - no respect for FL (at least by media - not sure about osu's perspective) - Major college D1 football, you better believe there's athletes on BOTH sides of the ball. I think FL had an ax to grind - Week before Meyer said he was working all the angles - even the color of the seats in the stadium!

I guess a 41-14 win over heavily favored and undefeated Ohio State that had the Hesiman trophy winner, a 1-loss season in a conference with two bcs teams, and winning a bcs bowl with UTAH (when do you think we'll see that again) and making Alex Smith into the #1 pick didnt convince you?

Let's see. Fulmer had the athletes in 2005 and had a lousy season. Must have been the coaching. Hummmmmmmm.

Im not saying he is a bad coach, he just has not proved he is the god of football to me. I love the bandwagons people get on. One great season and he is the best coach out there. I dont get the fact of fans who have mindsets like this, I dont know how you can say a coach is terrible after one bad season, but give so much praise after a good one. He did a nice job in bowling green, did good at utah, and he might do well in florida, he is getting off to a good start. But until he does it all with his recruits, i am not buying. I am not asking anyone on here to change their opinion, just saying that I dont think it is fair to compare him to the likes of Pete Carroll, Stoops or any of the other great coaches that have proven time and again that they can coach. We will see next year.

#1 on UF got held on that kick off and spun around right in the middle of the TV. Refs blew a big call. They should not even had that 7 points. Like I said the best thing goingfor OSU was the refs. That roughing the passer call on OSU's second score was a joke.

What was irrational about what he just posted? All he is saying is that Meyer needs to get back in the mix a couple more times to prove that he's in the class of Stoops, Carroll etc and not the second coming of Larry Coker.
