You just have to see all the pieces to see how they fit together. Follow me if you will.

Its been documented how much Mike Leach loves pirates. UT would like to have a HC of the caliber of Gruden and Monte Kiffin has said he'd like to coach with his son.

So what if Jon Gruden left TB to take the UT job? Mike Leach could then coach the Bucs. Lane and Monte could then go to TTU.

Everyone gets what they want. UT gets Gruden, the Kiffins get to coach together as father and son, and Leach could finally realize his dream of being a pirate.

I hear there is a plan in place to trade CPF and cash to Carolina for Butch Davis.
