1. A win is a win. Burn the film and move on.
2. Cunningham's kickoffs were atrocious. I find it hard to fathom nobody on campus can kick it to the goal line.
3. The cornerbacks were abysmal. Both jobs should be open this week.
4. The Marching 110 lived up to their billing. Best band I've ever seen in Neyland.
5. The dye will be cast for the season next week. The result will dictate the path this team takes.
6. The Bowden Era was officially buried today. If you can't defend your homefield against Matt Grotheless South Florida, you are irrelevant.
7. Clemson lost to the coach they should have hired today. I love seeing ADs get gutted by their mistakes.
8. Kentucky has serious problems. They are taking a major step back this season.
9. Miami got a dose of reality today. They are still way too young to go on the road and beat quaity opponents.
10. Cincinnati is positioned for a run at an undefeated season. They're better than everyone left on their schedule.

Half of the UT students at the game were acting like extras from "You Got Served" during the rendition of "Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy" at halftime by Ohio's band.

IMO, only real bright spot today, was I felt that Nuke had his best showing thus far.

The only thing I would add is a point for all the people who are still mortally wounded that we didn't hire Butch Davis away from North Carolina: year three of his tenure, and he got blown out today by a vulnerable Georgia Tech team with no defense and no QB. I was in Bobby Dodd Stadium today and it was nowhere near as close as the 24-7 final indicated. Why would anybody regret not paying Nick Saban money to a guy who can't get it done in his third year in the abysmal ACC?

Do you think we had an emotional "hangover" from the Florida game?

Of course we did. Anybody who's ever watched any college football at all knew we'd come out flat tonight after leaving everything on the field in Gainesville last week. I don't think that a coach has ever been born who can keep college kids from riding the rollercoaster like that.

I think the plan was to kick it high to help with kick coverage

They were in man coverage all night.

South Florida is the second best team in FL

Solid observations. I do think we take care of Auburn next week though.

I agree, I caught the tail end of their game tonight vs. Ball St. They remind me very much of our team minus the defense. I think our D plus home field gives us the edge.

lol OHIO threw all over our D. Auburn was much more impressive tonight. We looked like some average 6-6 school.

They were in man coverage against a bunch of average MAC receivers and got ripped. That's disgraceful.

Ohio's qb is pretty good. When you can avoid the rush and pass on the run, the receivers are going to be open against man coverage.
I think at times, JJ and the corners were out of position though.
