sony doesnt just win. the first shipment of 360s have problems but the newer ones seem fine.
No. There have been people out there having to replace their XBox 360 3, 4 sometimes even 5 times. Microsoft still has yet to resolve the problem.

but sony will make it where there are no problems with the ps3
before and after
I wouldn't go that far. I think we'll see faults in most consoles coming out from here on out. I don't think there will be recalls or anything unless there is danger involved. Every new console has its problems. PlaySation 3 may have fewer than the 360 on its launch, but I seriously doubt it will have none.

bradman, why are you spacing your posts this way? Just curious. Is that iambic pentameter?
He has a poetic soul.

Milo, you can believe what you want but the % of people that have had issues since some of the initial release problems are very limited. Of course, you only hear about the problems. I know many people who have 360's and none of them have had any issues. Does it happen? Sure, just as it does with most electronics. However, anyone who has called the 800 number has been impressed about how easy it was to get a new unit quickly.

I'll even give you that they had more issues on those first batches then they should have but that's about the extent of it in my experience.

Hell, pay the $60 for a 3 year warranty and you are still well under the PS3 price.

I've heard good things about the customer service as well.

I may bash on the 360, but truth is I'm a video game lover and I go where the good products are. :peace2:

I am still dreading having to drop another $100 on a hard drive though.

I know you are milo. People just seems to make it out to sound like every 360 made has issues.

Did you call Microsoft about the HD and they will not cover it?

You don't even know if it's the drive, nor have you contacted MS. Sounds like you really don't mind throwing money away.

I haven't had the time to contact Microsoft lately. I'm in the middle of trying to make my graduation happening, and the schoolwork was getting loaded on at the end... Not to mention some problems arising with my commencment stuff.

ok clearly you know nothing about how hardware and software works, if you think just becuase sony has seen MS's problems, that they wont have their own problems on PS3.
