The WTF story of the Day

My grandparents are rolling over right now...............smh:rolleyes:

Mine would not have understood the headline at all. Just as well have been written in ancient Greek. Granddad was from Tellico Plains and Grandmother was from Tift County, Georgia. If those backgrounds were not enough, they lived in Berlin, Georgia, a town which was not a place to go touting one's proclivities towards that end of the spectrum.

I may take this in a different direction... but I think this is yet another reason why we don't need all of these TSA restrictions and bottlenecks. It is no longer about protecting us from terrorists (assuming it ever was about protecting us from terrorists) and it is more about just being as intrusive as possible. It is long past time for them to relax a lot of these restrictions.

I’ve heard it called many things including a tool, but never a gun before?

Howard Huffman told me that in the army, they did in fact insist that was the gun and your weapon was a weapon. If you called your weapon a gun, they made you repeat 100 times (or whatever) "This is my weapon, this is my gun. This is for fighting and this is for fun."
