Because Orton needed to win since he's going into a feud with Cena, and you don't bring Rusev or Alistair Black back to have them lose their return match.

Instead they totally jobbed out the TNA Champ at the biggest show of the year. Any hype Hendry had is dead and buried now. It's a perfect example of why you never partner with WWE.

Joe will be fine. He wants a job in WWE eventually. They'll likely repackage him if that ever happens anyway.

But stuff like this stinks for TNA. It seemed like they didn't known Joe was gonna be in that spot until the last minute either.

This shows that he'll be on the NXT/WWE roster on a full time basis before too long. This IMO is him getting his foot in the door and WWE gauging his reaction before signing him.

I'd almost bet he's losing the belt at Rebellion.
