The worst gut feeling you've had in the last 5 years?

Watching UT football, specifically limiting myself to the last 5 years, I seem to remember having many of those gut wrenching "Oh God no!" feelings (like when Foster fumbled against Florida on Sat.) when you know something disasterous is fixing to happen to the Vols. The one that stickes out most in my mind is from the 2001 Tennessee/Georgia game. The moment we squib kicked the kickoff and gave Georgia the ball at their 41 with 39 seconds to play I knew we had lost that game.

Just out of curiosity, in the last 5 years, what moments in UT football history stick out in your mind that made you cringe at the time?

2003 fumble at the goal line against UGA which was returned 99 yards for a TD.

Or watching Matt Mauck look like Mike Vick.

Or any Peach Bowl.

Or watching LSU drive and score in the 4th quarter in 06.

The Florida game in 06 when Mapu was called for roughing the passer.

That is the one that sticks out for me. Our performance in the second half was awful. Halftime adjustments? Not so much.

01 UGA was a bad one as they marched down the field.

I also remember sitting in the Swamp in 95. Maybe the worst 2nd half I have seen live.

I've never seen the life go out of a team like that before or since but I think the fumble against Penn State was close.

Another I would have to mention would be when Chuck Webb went down against Pacific.

1. LSU punking us last year...ugh!that one hurt...was there.
2. Arian getting careless last year in Outback Bowl.....was there, i cried, but i won't tell anyone that i did.

That was longer than 5 years ago, but it still is a night that will live in infamy for me....

So in the last 5 years:

The 2003 Georgia fumble made me physical ill.

Losing to Spurrier/South Carolina after retiring Peyton's jersey was so sublimely/ironically awful.

Losing to Vandy. Enough said.
