Cheezits forking rice, what a complete mess. The Dems had one job, but they're so discombobulated they couldn't even get it done. And holding the results until they can be manipulated, um, confirmed?

If I were a Dem, I'd be absolutely livid right now.

Sounds like there were major glitches in the system and rather than force out some unverified results, they are willing to take the public shaming in order to make sure they get it correct.

I don't mean this as a normal jab, but the Democratic party has become a complete joke. Not saying the other side is great, but good grief at the dems.
It's a bad look. But I'll take that look over the Trump repubs. strong arming every potential Trump primary challenger off of the ballot.

There must have been some serious “irregularities” for them to blow it up like this. They had to know that they were going to get killed from a PR standpoint. Wonder how much of it is a glitch and how much of it is shenanigans? It can’t take that long for caucus chairs to manually tabulate delegates and just call them in can it?

You'll take the look of everyone thinking your side is trying to cheat? I mean I guess so, they didn't even deny rigging it for Hillary. No shame at all.

I'm sure there are hundreds trying to get to the root of the problem, surrounded by thousands of members of the press. Seems a little to stupid to attempt shenanigans under that spotlight. But if they did, it will certainly be reported.

From what I can find and what I can infer, the plan was to increase confidence by triangulating results using three methods: the app, paper records, and caucus call-in. The problem appears to be that there isn't a match between any two of the methods.

I can understand the app being a major bust. If they didn't do an external load test to see if thousands of simultaneous logins would cause problems, then they need to fire their tech team.

But if the goal was transparency and reliability, why haven't they clearly said what the problem is and how they are planning on addressing it?

Over the look of Trump refusing to let any challenger on any ballot because he knows that the anybody but Trump vote would make him look horrible? Sure I would.

How hard is it to count ballots?

There will be a logical explanation for the system failure, but it will not matter to the right wing propaganda arm. Sit back and watch what is circulated on their outlets and through social media. That makes for a more interesting and telling story, but one that will be ignored.
