I'm watching that too. Sucks to be a property owner on the Chesapeake Bay.

as a past resident of the chesapeake bay area (and very possible future resident) i'm now concerned. What did they say?

Apparently the receding glacier that once covered the area causes the land in the area to rise and fall in a wobble like movement that causes water levels to fluctuate.

oh.. yeah.. it does. I actually knew that. I thought something bad was going to eventually happen. People can pee outside and cause floods at some points, at some times it can rain all day and do nothing.

According to what they are saying right now, a Cat 4 hurricane hitting the Chesapeake Bay would allow you to surf right into the reflection pool in front of the Washington Monument.
