The ways that ESPN has established their hate of Tennessee

This story deserved it own thread! :lolabove::lolabove:

No one is perfect. That was the message Florida coach Urban Meyer tried to convey Thursday as he addressed the 24 legal incidents involving Gators players since 2005.

And folks make a big deal out our 4 secondary violations. Meyer has sixfold that in criminal activity. Geez... how can they not win the 'Fulmer cup?'

Meyer is the new warden in the SEC.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Generally the NCAA doesn't get involved in the felonious activities of college players. I don't recall seeing NCAA police in Knoxville after a game. How many misdemeanors and felonies have UT players been charged with over the last 5 years? My guess is that it's less than UF's but more than anyone's proud of.

I was pretty much under the impression all the cool inner circle types on Volnation had squashed the idea ESPN hated Tennessee as a ridiculous redneck idea of homeristic nepotism...well I guess theres work to be done.

Nice, but redundant unless you're referring to the Caray familiy's employment by the Braves.

It's a process. We are knocking down the wall of hatred one homeristic, redneck brick at a time.

I've never thought ESPN had any bias against UT and was never really part of the wall of hatred.

On the other hand, I've confessed to homeristic biases, but am still trying to rise above my 'redneck' upbringings. Thus, I'm not sure if I count among UT's homeristic redneck population.

Nonetheless, I wanted to clarify as my earlier intent was to sling mud on UF's criminal activity in somewhat of a redneck fashion primarily driven by my homeristic instincts. :hi:

Peyton should have easily won the heisman in 1997---ABC/ESPN orchestrated the whole thing to get Woodson, a DB, the award.
