The Vols D Line

All this talk about our D-line, I didn't know we had a D-line, where has it been hiding? Or, if this entire thread is a joke, because everyone knows we don't have a D-line, then I guess the joke is on me!

Tuttle is not the same player. McKenzie is a full fledged bust.

Kongbo, 5-star? Joke. Should've moved to tackle. Phillips? Soft. Taylor is OK, but not a stud.

Yet, the younger players still not getting minutes. Amazing.

I remember the excitement of getting McKenzie. It feels like he's been out all year

Our D line has to be the weakest in the conference, if not the country. I don't believe I saw a defensive tackle make a TFL all season. The only time they seemed to ever get past their respective opponent was when it was necessary for the other team to have them in their backfield to take them completely out of the called play.

Has to be the weakest worst line I've ever watched in football at any level.

And we promoted the D Line coach to the interim coach.

Derek Barnett doesn't get the credit he deserves for what he brought to this team.

Couldn't sack my grandmother even if she was on crutches.

They look weak, non aggressive and just plain out of shape, kinda like our whole team. What is our S&C coach called rock for, it should be runt.

Our DL is full of highly rated 4 and 5* guys. Yet they are getting abused by Vandy's 2 and 3* guys. Our whole defensive coaching staff, should have to return every check UT has written them this year.

Made the comment to my brother in law about our DL. Mac was a 5 star "beast". Same for Kongbo. The list goes on and on. Paper tigers. Nothing inside. No pride. No fight. Honestly, the sooner we turn this roster over the better. The more transfers the better. Get rid of the Butch recruits. Tear this entire program down and rebuild it. Hell, how much worse can it get?
