The Vols 45 points are the most scored against a power 4 opponent in week 1.

As far as I can tell from looking over all of the FBS scores, no team scored more than 45 points against a power 4 conference opponent this weekend. Other teams did score more, but only against group of 5 or FCS schools. It's an encouraging stat to start the season.

The only caveat is that TCU and UNC play tomorrow and one could potentially top it, although I find that unlikely.

Fun side note, the second highest number of points scored on a power 4 team was Utah's 43 against UCLA
