Super! I know you've got a hard on for NCAA basketball, but please put it on the crapper till we get above 500 in Football. We've all waited many months to see Crompton throw above 50%. This basketball thing is like serving me an ice water at happy hour. 30 days should suffice!!!!

Well said. We do become too obsessed with football in the south. Basketball has suffered because of it. I'm definitely a Pearl fan. I'll take 20 wins and a six pack every year. I had forgotten we competed in basketball till he showed up in Knoxville. It is a winter sport though.

Hat.....Did Kennedy talk about Reginald Buckner any ??.....How is he progressing and is he going to compete for playing time ??

I didn't specifically ask about him because they haven't been practicing long enough. That said, I'm quite confident Buckner will get significant minutes.

I saw him play the last two years in the state tournaments..He is big time talent...

Did Pearl ever seriously try to recruit Buckner or Terrico White ??

If I remember correctly, White was not a highly rated player. Just goes to show you that the stars by the name is not always correct. But, much closer in basketball than football.

Most people had him a three star. If he was heavily recruited, how do you think he ended up at Mississippi?
