Many need to understand and admit that we're completely rebuilding.

Only 5 Wins last season didn't make many top recruits call us and ask us to recruit them.

Pruitt has built a excellent staff of very good coaches and recruiters.

I was amazed at how many really good to top recruits we brought in this year after only 5 Wins.

Fact is that our player roster is very far behind our top competition but we're turning the roster every year.

We not only need excellent SEC starters but we need the same type of quality depth sitting on the bench so that when we sub guys out our quality of play doesn't drop off and so that as starters leave early or graduate we'll have instant replacements ready to step right in and start.

This is going to take us a few more years of great recruiting and then coaching the kids up so they're ready to rock when their number is called.

Next season I see 6 or 7 Wins and more than that is outstanding.

Back in any bowl is huge and very important to get us those 15 extra days of practice to keep coaching the kids up more.

We still have many butch kids to run through and Pruitt isn't just going to toss them out into the street even if their negative attitudes hurts our team.

We're on the right track and headed back up the mountain but we're far behind and it's going to take a few more years to catch up and then move ahead of all the rest but I honestly believe we'll get there.

VFL...GBO!!!

With the lack of first tier, quality back-up players... depth will be a big factor this year. That means injuries...or the lack of them will play a big factor in the upcoming season. We're definitely moving in the right direction but IMHO any talk of an 8-9 win season is pie-in-the-sky wishful thinking for 2019 and would only happen if pretty much ALL the "good" breaks go our way and a couple of our toughest opponents conveniently suffer some "bad" breaks, which isn't likely.
This organization under the leadership of Coach Fulmer and Coach Pruitt just needs to keep doing what they know how to do and it will come.
GBO.

Growing up, I really liked cracklins and was partial to the hot sauce flavored ones. Had the stuff in cornbread too. These days I try to avoid all things pig. I do pretty good because I live forty-four miles from a certain store. See, they have these packets of bacon that astonishingly, are more meat than fat. I mean thick, wide strips of meat and smaller strips of fat. Delicious and I have to make sure I buy only two packs at a time. Otherwise, I'd be eating bacon 24/7 and making my doctor richer and richer. Meanwhile, I'm with Ice in regard to the Vols having a surprisingly good season that will pleasantly shock many fans.
Let me guess. You're a "healthy grain" type of guy. I have news for you, you can eat that bacon. Reduce your carbs, eat healthy fats. Avoid your doctor except to discuss your A1C. I eat sow belly every morning. Lost 80 pounds - 40 on keto diet. Eat lots of greens.

Good for you. My preferences are rather different. I like growing my own food whenever possible. I like healthy grain bread instead of white bread which is sugar-laden. The goal is to avoid the ravages of diabetes. I even sometimes bake my own. Like many, I have a weakness for bacon so often eat bison, deer, antelope, and elk substitutes. Sometimes ostrich as well. I know pig fat isn't healthy which is why my home has shelves of various plant-based oils like olive, avocado, sesame, canola, and almost anything else except palm oil. I'm not overweight. Now greens, you hit the spot there. I love greens and growing them. Kale, turnip greens, collards, spinach, Swiss chard, mustard, arugula, and for both tubers and greens; I grow beets and radish. I don't grow it but also like dandelion greens. To be frank, both I and my wife just like cooking what I guess you could call atypical food. We tend to avoid the processed trash found in many grocery stores. That bacon I mentioned is uncured and has no nitrites or nitrates or any preservatives. Which is why you either eat it or freeze it for later use. Otherwise, it just spoils.

Now, what the heil does that have to do with Vols football? Oh yeah! We try eating healthy to live longer so as to enjoy more Vols football. Hopefully, without aches and pains for as long as possible. GBO!!!!!
