The Uniforms last night were..

Awesome. I'm surprised theres not more talk about the Tennessee uniforms. I thought the black and gray went really well with Tennessee orange. Not to mention that was the first time Tennessee has not worn the tradition white helmet, in quite some time.

Who else liked the uniforms? If not, why didn't you like them? Do you have any alternate uniform colors in mind?

The orange really popped on the gray. I liked the Addidas gray better, but the gray helmet is a must with the alternate.

The black shoes!!!! UT needs the team in black shoes with orange swoosh with all the unis.

The helmet is no more sacred than the Tennessee Orange jersey in my opinion. Once you started messing with the traditional uniforms everything is fair game.

I think the uniforms are God awful ugly.

I know I am THAT GUY, but I hate the fact that shoe companies and 16 year old potential recruits and 19 year old players are determining what uniforms these schools wear.

I've had to endure Florida's Clemson uniform this year and I can't stand it. At least, it's one of the school colors.

The "Smokey Greys" are terrible.

LOVED the uniforms. They looked even better on the field than when they were showcased over the summer.

Most importantly, though, is that guaranteed the RECRUITS loved them. Very important group of recruits there yesterday. Watched the game with my son who is in high school and he and his friends all loved the uniform and helmet.

I actually really liked the helmets.

I don't think they were ugly. I just think our helmet design should be off limits. They already tweaked the wide stripe with the checkerboard on the back, that was subtle. But it's just my opinion (and everyone has their own) that Vol helmets are orange accents on a solid white base. And the Power T on the side MUST be off limits! They did leave that alone at least

Best looking unis we have ever worn. I'm going to go buy one today and I stopped wearing jerseys when throwbacks went out of style. I'm getting one of these though.

I am not a fan of the smokey grey uniforms, and really hate when teams change helmets so often they don't know what their traditional helmets even are. Maybe the win helped, but with the helmets the grey didn't look as bad yesterday.

Your solid blues with orange helmet looks good. But the Clemson unis need to be returned to Clemson ASAP they are fugly

They won. They're great!!!!!!

They are beautiful uniforms. However, for viewing the game on TV, they are less than ideal. The grey just doesn't stand out with the same crispness as the orange on white and white on white uniforms do. I found myself wishing the team had dressed out in their normal home attire. I especially, and sorely, missed our usual helmets. Wearing them with the grey uniforms would have mitigated the otherwise muted effect coming from the TV screen.
