This game, as always will be close. It will depend on a lot of things. Which teams will show up? 1st half or 2nd half Gators vs Troy? 1st or 2nd half Vols vs USM?

1st half Gators vs 2nd half Vols could be a blowout in favor of the Gators.

2nd half Gators vs 1st half Vols could be a blowout in favor of you guys.

I think it will be a combination of both. Both teams will be up for the game. This will by no means be a "blowout" on any side. It will be a touchdown or less victory with both our sides biting our nails off before the end.

One thing is for sure, this Gator has a lot of respect for your program. Sure, we are rivals and will jab each other back and forth. I, at least, have tremendous respect for your program. So, here's to a good, clean, injury free game on Satuday. Any of you coming to the game are free to stop by and say hey. I will be parked by Little Hall grillin burgers and havin a beer. You are more than welcome to come by for a beer or just to say hey. I will not throw bottles of urine or start beatin the crap out of anyone. Just PM me for info, I am not going to give out my car description over a forum. Good luck and may the best (Gators) team win!

i think you have that mixed up...Our 2nd half was the best we played all year against USM...not the first half

Turnovers will play a big part in this game always does.Special teams maybe big also.

Fundamental disciplined tackling is always important in any game, in this rivalry it's even more important. The same can be said with control of the line of scrimmage. I feel the deciding factor in this game will be special teams because of the emotional momentumn swings and the rule change of where the ball is kicked. It is beyond critical that the Vols play disciplined in special teams to avoid giving the Gators with that offense field position, to keep em buried deep all day and make em be patient and conservative. :twocents:

Although I appreciate the sportsmanship, I have no gator friends nor do I have any Bama friends, I do not like either program, I never have and never will. Florida has my respect only cause they have beaten the Vols 5 of the last 9 contests. As I have posted elsewhere...my tombstone should read, "Here lies a Vol fan. I may be here but at least I'm not in Gainesville!" I can't wish youall good luck, it seems last year you used it all up. GO VOLS:yahoo:

Welcome.... As a Gator fan I'm hoping you'll be able to go back to your Gator board and alert the members there just as well that most Vol fans who comes to their board are of the same mind, there to discuss opinions and not there to stir up trouble.

Believe it or not, my board has 4-5 Vol posters like me that will rib, but are cool as hell (Crossville, Mocs, KingofVols to name a few). Anyone that wants to come to my board (GSMB) is more than welcome. I extended the same invite to Bucknuts as well (be warned though, you do need tough skin to post there). I just ask you don't come to troll.

Did you go to the game....did you order your own game on PPV. The second half of the gator game was all second teamers....of course it would be a blowout and will not happen. Bad analogy. You had other decent things to say though.

Went to the game, and I was referring to the turnovers by the first team offense/ Brandon James on the return.
