It just seems to me that if you find yourself stuck in a drought, as you put it, you need to make the necessary changes to get to where you want to be instead of just sitting on your keister and waiting for something good to happen. IMO the Fulmer-UTK situation is coming to resemble the latter. As a UTK fan, with each passing season of this slop I feel like the program is chanied to a giant rock (named Phillip) that is preventing any forward momentum.
I feel the same way. If 9-4 is the best turn around he can produce then i'd say early retirement should be considered. Lets face it we let one get away there. Next years chances of getting back don't look very good. I ask why is he still here?

bassman, it's just the immediate agony. if you could've known 10 minutes after the bama game ended that we would run the table from there and lose to lsu by a touchdown in the SECCG after leading most of the game, you'dve thought: that sounds pretty cool. I almost guarantee it.
Nope....wrong....all that does is make it worse!..."just wait 'till your Dad gets home" That's how I feel EVERY VOL season.
