So he's doing what he should have done 3 years ago?
Do you think a government or business full of yes men is a good thing? Just curious, because there's plenty of work out there saying that should be avoided. But then again our president raw dogs porn stars, so his judgment ain't so great.

Scoop: New White House personnel chief tells Cabinet liaisons to target Never Trumpers - Axios

Nothing EVER, and I mean EVER, goes wrong when you surround yourself with yes men.

Imagine letting others convince you that allowing subordinates , ones that have been actively working against you , and your administration , to stay in their long held federal jobs because ...that’s just how things are done in DC . I think he hasn’t been very smart about this subject , and is just now starting to figure out what he should have already done . Can their ass , or have them reassigned to paper clip counting jobs , in the basement of some federal building somewhere .

Every Successful company has their share of yes men and nut huggers , no successful company has too many subordinates that are actively working to make its CEO and the company fail . Success and sabotage don’t ride well in the same car .

Don’t need yes men but all the horses need to be pulling the wagon in the same direction.

^- This. As usual we get leftist conflation. Nothing wrong with having your own opinion but if it differs with the boss’s opinion then you follow the boss’s choice. And doing what the boss/team have decided /= yes man what a weak ass conflated argument. Took me a while as a young engineer to get over the “why won’t they listen to me I know what I’m talking about!” self and I don’t know how many times I’ve had that talk over the years with young engineers.

You aren’t expected to agree. But you are expected to follow the direction of leadership. And if you’re found out to be actively undermining that leadership you can expect to be fired.

You have 2 paralegals who thwart your good efforts as a lawyer by going against your office policies and going behind your back to clients and disparaging you. Do you keep them or fire them when you find out what they've been doing?

No, no, no, no, no. Government is entirely different.

Loyalty of each member of government is to the people and to the country, not to the chief executive. Example: Let's say a cabinet member learned that in fact Trump was planning something incredibly stupid and dangerous. It can be whatever you want, let's say bomb France. That cabinet member's duty is to tell the right people to prevent Trump from doing it, not to argue with Trump and then just give up and let it happen.

The DNI has a duty to tell Congress what is going on. WHAT IS ACTUALLY GOING ON. Not the spin Trump wants put on it. Even if the intel hurts Trump, it is nonetheless the duty of the DNI to tell Congress. Saving Trump some embarrassment absolutely pales in comparison to that duty. Its not even close.

All of you boiling this down to a simple question of institutional loyalty to Trump because he is President need to take a serious look at what you are saying. Put the shoe on the other foot and think through your reaction if the DNI did not tell Congress, including Republicans, if it found out that Obama was born in Kenya and was a member of al-Qaeda, because hey, Obama was President.

I think in any business as the CEO, it's important to rid yourself of employees that make it their sole reason in life to destroy you.

There is a difference between:

1) yes man suck ups who never question their boss or even suggest other ideas and
2) people who hate their boss so much that they actively work against him and his policies, and attempts to get others to do so even illegally

Leave it to you or Luther to go to the most outlandish possibilities.
