i wasn't sure. The past few weeks have been a blur for me. Just knew he thought he was gonna be an okie, then thought he got out of it, then found it he would be having to go again.

either way, hope it's going well vader. it's gonna be hard for the new you not to impress all the ladies up there in Sooner country.

So far things are going pretty well. I have been given an assignment on a project here at the "home office" that should keep me busy for the next month or so. Management has been pretty optimistic about work coming up. To their credit, they had 5 of us charging to overhead for a couple of weeks while they tried to get approval from the customer to add us to programs. I have gotten my (albeit brief) assignment, but there are still a few charging overhead. That is no small amount of money coming off the top. It seems that they want to keep us around. One guy has gone up to Tulsa and other "opportunities" to do that will probably arise, but I am going to do my best to duck them.

I have been given a new desk in a part of our office that is just opening up. They gave us guys coming back into the office first dibs and I'll have to say, it is probably the nicest seating arrangement I have ever had. Fairly secluded, new furniture and I can look over my shoulder out the window. It is a two man cubicle and the guy I am sharing with is a friend of mine.

So, all in all, I am very pleased right now. I just hope it lasts.

I was given a field sobriety test for the second time in my life last night, both times I have definitely been well under the legal limit, and both times I have been harassed by scumbags from the PD. I am not a happy camper this morning, but at least the jackass didn't decide to take me to jail.

And the scumbag comment was in no way directed at any of the fine members of the law enforcement community that post here, only the bad ones.

I got a sweet Terrapin glass at the bar last night though. Unfortunately there were a crap ton of hippies there for the "Post-Panic" party.
