Anyone who's ever read the AJC on a regular basis could tell you that Barnhart does no original reporting or analysis at all. He's made a career out of knowing a bunch of old guys around the SEC, talking to them on a regular basis, and writing up a column about whatever the conventional wisdom is. He's as vanilla as they come.
