A great high school or transfer QB should NOW seriously consider coming to UT.
We now have an offensive minded Head Coach who was a successful QB himself and who plays an exciting brand of offense.
We Vol fans love and worship our successful QBs in Knoxville. How many things are named after or for Peyton?
We have great support and facilities and play in the best conference.
Heupel will get us a great off line and wide receiver corps for our QBs To work with.

So, what excites me about our QB situation is not our current QB room.
Its the guys that we will have in it in the future.

We hope he’s great. But let’s not put all our eggs in that basket like we did with Salter.
Need at least one more. Would love it to be a transfer Who’s already been successful somewhere.

Idk if you realize how rare it is to have a transfer QB who's already been successful.

You have a 5 star QB from Georgia who set records all over the place benched for a guy that failed else where that our QB whisperer can't fix. Why would any top notch QB after what've put on the field and how we did it want to play for Heupel?

Is it "benched" if he didn't win the job?

Watching the games this weekend, Milton is worse than ANY other SEC i saw playing....This includes Vandy and USCe.

If we can't ind better QB play, I don't think ANY SEC game is a sure win. (yes this includes Vandy)
We'd beat Vandy if Cade was playing QB.

Heupel knows how to scheme for open receivers. That much is obvious. He has never had a truly dual threat QB, but always a strong passer delivering the ball.
He seems hell-bent to introduce a dual threat QB at Tennessee, but his scheme seems built for a sharpshooter more than a track star. It would be nice to have both, but delivering the ball accurately is the bread and butter that makes his offense go. I really hope he doesn't overlook Bailey.

It’s been two games. CJH will figure out the QB position.

We do not deserve a great quarterback with a coach like Heupel!

Which means if you are the best throwing QB in high school don't come here if you can't run. Because running is important
