Nobody knows this about me, but I went 13 straight years without throwing up. No vomit - not a gag, nothing. Until last night.

I got food poisoning from a certain steak chimichanga mentioned in this thread.

I was up all night with the prototypical food poisoning symptoms, and of course, I tried to not vomit, but I failed ... 8 times.

I'm off work today and still feel queasy. How long does it take to get over food poisoning?

Depends on what you got? I never got food poisining until I moved out west, now it happens about twice a year.

BTW I'm on a similar streak of my own VIA. It's probably been at least 10 years since I last threw up.

The stories we could tell about vomiting, never had food poison. It isn't fun when your vomiting, and it's coming out of your nose and mouth together. I guess you wont be eating steak chimichanga again.

I've vomited more than a few times in the last 13 years, almost all because of my own decision making.

But 1 week ago today, i had an uneasy feeling at work in my gut. I went to Burger King, got a #1 with an unsweetened iced tea, ate it, and went home to lose it in the bathroom. After repeating that 3 times over the night, i felt fine but exhausted. Very weird feeling, to vomit without asking "how much did i really drink?!?!" haha
