a lot of talent but nothing seemingly spectacular - at least it didn't show under the tutelage of the previous coaching staff

positive vibes with the new coaching staff and hoping they can put players in position to make big plays - LOTS OF BIG PLAYS !!

I see a roster that I think is the 3rd most talented in the SEC East and in the top half of the SEC. This is a program that is desperate for good coaching and has the talent to make a quick turnaround, but obviously still a good ways off from competing at the top. Hopefully this new staff gets it done. I think the talent on offense is outstanding and if the offense struggles this season, then that's a really bad sign for Heupel. With his reputation, this offense should score a lot of points. I do think 8 wins is very realistic.

It is the same new rule that applied to Jarrett Guarantano. Any player recruited by General Neyland is ineligible to play in 2021.

Offensively, Hyatt and Velus Jones could be at WR, TiYon Evans better be one at RB. On the Defensive side, maybe Alontae Taylor or Tyler Baron could be playmakers. This team needs more explosive playmakers.

good analysis

only concern is first year changes for both sides of the ball and the terminology challenges. traditionally there is a learning curve and hopefully that only takes a game or three.

IF some of the highly rated players on the DL can play to their ranking then that unit could be solid. CB depth and of course LBs look concerning to me though.

I had pointed out how poorly Pruitt recruited depth at this position. I’d say this staff will be looking for some transfers after spring practice.

Frerking is very close to the middle name I would use for a certain player when someone asked who the starting Qb was the majority of last season.
