I think we should have a forum within The boards just for the petty pop shots people throw at each other.

I don't know about everyone here, but I for one am tired of starting or reading a thread and it turns into name calling and petty off topic arguements between posters.

We are all here for the same reason. If you don't like what I post or my view on something thats fine your entitled to your opinion just as I am.

Even If I think someones opinion or statement is wrong or baseless Im not gonna call you a name or say something off topic and derogatory to you.

You can certainly disagree with me. Thats why we are here. Voice your opinion, but lets leave the name calling to the 10 year olds. Maybe we need "THE SPARRING RING"

I've been going to and creating message boards for almost 5 years now. The sad thing is the more popular a site is the more of these threads you have. Sports forums will ALWAYS be full of arguements,name calling and this type of crap. It's because fans are passionte about thier teams and no matter how long you have been a fan your not going to agree with others on what the problems are or how to fix them. One of my friends is a Duke fan and they win 25 games and make the Final 4 like almost every season and he said it's still full of members/fans bitching about the team and the coaching staffs. This just multiples after a bad season or a bowl let down. You should try going to some Colts forums right now..not a pretty site.

With all that said it is a shame it's come to members calling each other out in threads. If I was recruit I'd want to see how fans reacted after a dissapointment. Seeing them call each other names and act like two year olds would weigh in my mind on choosing that school. We're all disapointed and want to see us winning championships again, no one of us could probably coach any Div.1 school along in a conference like the SEC. It's okay to view your thoughts and opinions but keep the name calling of the coaching staff and each other down. We're better than this gang!
