They ARE the defending national champions after all. I have suffered through much worse losses than this one and I am still proud of and excited about this team.

Notre Dame beats Clemson 14- 0 ND's ball 9 min to go in the 3rd
TCU loses at Texas or Baylor
Rutgers holds on against Michigan & Michigan beats OSU
LSU holds on to beat Bama or OL Miss does it
UT beats Mo. USCe and Vandy 160 to 20 something
UGA or LSU wins SEC
UGA or LSU and Tennessee are in the CFP with OSU or Michigan and Oregon USC or UCLA
or something like that with a whole lot of ball left to play

Let's not even worry about playoffs, let's just talk about finishing 11-1. We haven't done that since 2001. I will take that right now.

Yeah, I got frustrated a lot with this as well but it is very hard being in his shoes with that pressure. It is a lot easier for us being fans watching on sideline to second guess decisions.

Nope. We all need keep things in percpective. We ain’t suppose to be this good with this roster in year 2. We are still alive and no matter what, at this point we are still going to have an unbelievable season. None of us on this board saw this coming. We so want to get back to the glory days of the 90’s. I think we are here now. Future looks great
PS. Bama is loosing
Clemson is loosing at time if this post. The night is looking to end fairly well for us. Stuff is falling in place. I think there is Devine intentions for the Vols. Enjoy the journey GO VOLS!

I’m right in line with your thought process. Some of this looks like it is happening as we speak. Win out and the it will take care of itself

I can tell I’m old school. None of the younger college fans even care about conference championships. That is what playoffs and TV has done. When the playoffs increase the # of teams, they might as well just forget conference championships. The regular season will lose some of it’s value, basically like basketball.
