1. A solid second half netted a much needed win. The final 20 minutes is about as efficient offensively as that group of players can perform.
2. The defense in the first half kept UT within striking distance. As limited as this team is on the offensive end, that will be the rule rather than the exception.
3. Wayne Chism played yet another quality game. His basket out of the timeout late sealed it.
4. Scotty Hopson showed flashes of actually being involved offensively. Then, he reverted to floating around doing nothing in particular.
5. Maze and Goins operated alright together. It's certainly not some panacea for this team's problems.
6. Brian Williams contributed and played hard. He certainly earned more minutes going forward.
7. Trey Thompkins is going to be a good NBA player. His offensive skill set will keep him cashing nice checks for about a decade.
8. Tennessee was fortunate they caught Travis Leslie on an off night. His turnovers down the stretch killed the Bulldogs.
9. Since I constantly kill the halftime disasters, I need to praise the portion of the game experience that does work. The National Anthem performers have been uniformly excellent of late.
10. Northwestern and Charlotte can start printing NIT tickets. Good win, Ron Everhart.

I'm surprised, no mention of mascot mayhem.

Come on, no mascot love? Someone didn't work hard to keep that musical chair game haphazardly rolling.

He reminds me of the girl who always flirted with you, made you think she wanted you, then let you make it halfway to second base, only to slap your hand before you got there.

How do you get "half way" to second base? You are either there your not, right?

The sad thing is, those mascots showed more energy and purpose than our offense showed in the first half.

I was disappointed in the dance teams routine tonight. Not only were their uniforms(?) terrible, the song choice was brutal. Disappointing to say the least. Mascot Mayhem was a joke, terrible execution as well.
