1. LSU stayed out for the Anthem. I would have been shock had a Trent Johnson led outfit done otherwise.
2. Fine job turned in by the UT Men's Choir. There's a good string of quality Anthems alive right now.
3. UT leaving a space open for Pearl in their Anthem line is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. He's suspended for being a liar, not in the hospital battling cancer.
4. I'd rather Tennessee have not wasted one of their infrequent quality shooting nights on LSU. It would come in handy Saturday.
5. Matt Derenbecker would be a really nice fourth option on a good team. As it is, he's the top player on an absolutely wretched team.
6. Cam Tatum bounced back nicely from his debacle Saturday. That's what UT needs out of him every night.
7. It'll be interesting to see if Melvin Goins can sustain this level of offense. If he does, Tennessee becomes much better on that end of the floor.
8. The Beale Street Flippers were easily the best halftime entertainment of the Pearl Era. The one kid is the Charles Barkley of urban gymnastics.
9. The SEC West should be ashamed. Nobody on that side of the league could win the SWAC.
10. Big game for UT Saturday. They need all the wins against the West they can pile up before the schedule turns brutal.

I agree, but it would be hard to shoot very badly against LSU, seeing as how they don't guard anyone.

Any D1 athlete shoots a good percentage against air.

Ole Miss will be no joke... barely lost to Florida... only lost by 10 to Vandy. Not a given win here

Apparently this year's heisman trophy winner was our player of the game according to Kessling.

Pumped for the Ole Miss game. We win that and it would take an epic collapse to not get to 8-8. Everyone posting NIT after every loss is off their rocker.

I'm curious about this one as well. It would definitely add another dimension to the game.

Thanks hat, this is my 6th semester in the Men's Chorale and we work hard. I will point out that our choir consists of somewhere between 60 and 70 members, so we were not in full strength tonight. Anyway, our director, Gene Peterson has resurrected our program and it doing a GREAT job as the choir director here at UT. Look for the Men's Chorale at events in the future, chances are that it will be a lot better.

I sang with and conducted the men's chorale tonight. Thanks so much for the shoutout! :loco:

Glad to see the team "do what they were supposed to" beat a weaker team form the west handily on your home floor. Now lets roll off three more tony and have some momentum going into rupp with the energy of BP taking the sideline for his first SEC game this season that will have this season back on track IMO as far as sec standings and tourney seeding.

I've seen them many times. But never in a space as small as a basketball court. It's crazy to watch them flip two city blocks non stop - makes a person dizzy just watching.

Thanks man. Like vols22 said we work really hard and hopefully we'll be able to do something else in full force instead of half the guys next time

My favorite part was Justin Worley being on the kiss cam between two hot bleach blondes and rejecting both. What a player.

How deep are Men's Chorale members rolling on VN?

PS, sorry to fellow posters for creating this tangent.
