i'm not abandoning the players but i finally feel like this was the tipping point....fulmer and chavis have to go....

another loss to vandy and one to Ky that might do it.
I seriously hope that doesnt happen though. Maybe a loss to a un ranked non conference team that might do it as well.

That's the only thing that will actually matter. Hamilton doesn't care about letters or sports radio. As long as the seats are filled all is well as far as he's concerned.

but full seats today say nothing about tomorrow and I think he realizes that continued mediocrity will kill attendance in the future. Let's give the guy some credit. To this point, unloading Fulmer was probably an untenable position for MH, but it's getting more livable by the day.

A loss to Arkansas State would having him packing after the game.

Mark it down...I said in a thread several weeks ago that I would reserve my prediction about the UK game after they play UL. The streak will end this year. Unless something DRAMATICALLY improves by the end of the year, we lose in a close one. :cray:

I was talking to my dad (UT '77) about this yesterday and he was telling me about the waning days of Bill Battle at Rocky Top...
I think he said that fans would sellout the stadium just to boo the guy off the field. He [dad] seems to especially remember a game against Kentucky where the booing was especially bad...

the secret to getting Fulmer fired is getting some of the top donors, like Haslam on the bandwagon. There is a rumor they already are.
