We lose Ayers and Bolden on the D-line... we have some young guys coming up. I don't think the D-line will be anymore thin than it is now. The O-line sucks, so I don't think it can get much worse.
I played offensive line and I will attest that switching footwork is incredibly hard to do and normally you wind up with bad footwork on both sides because its so hard to switch. It would almost be equal to being asked to switch hands you are writing with. I played for a coach one of my years that wanted us to have a strong and quick side much like this and it really screwed up our guys. We were an undersized line who relied on technique and footwork to block well and that really messed us up. I think its a terrible idea and I dont really see the big gain in doing it.I don't think our O-line sucks, as I have been saying since the beginning of the year, I think Clawsen's line scheme is overly difficult. I mean, this is the same line that gave up 5 sacks last year.
Most overrated stat from last year. Been talked about bunches on here before.I don't think our O-line sucks, as I have been saying since the beginning of the year, I think Clawsen's line scheme is overly difficult. I mean, this is the same line that gave up 5 sacks last year.
These are college kids worrying about girls, partying, and sometimes school. At a certain point you just need to let em get out there and hit someone.
