Thankfully, for vols' fans, this article suggests we're better off given the way they analyze it, since the main point is that non-conference SOS is given way more weight. Our games vs Texas, UNC, OSU, ok. st(maybe not so much this game), and butler are sure to render this 'debunking' moot.

Yep. UT is going to benefit from that. I am thinking that an appearance in the semis may well get you into a 4 seed position.

With Maryland, Duke, and Air Force all losing, I think a win or two could raise UT above a 4 seed.
