Zach probably redshirts. Isn't Austin our #2 WR at this point?

Don't think so. Think he'll be a #4 at best this fall. If Moore, Hancock, and Warren keep improving he'll be a #5. Then we don't know how good Teague, Nuke, and Green are.

So out of Nuke, Teague, Warren, and Moore you don't think one will overtake him for the role of #3 receiver in this O?

I think those are the game one starters. We'll see how the freshmen turnout as the season progresses. C

Honestly I would rather see Jones, Warren and Hancock, over Rogers. Then coming off the sideline Moore, Nuke and Teague.

The Moore/Rogers comparison is funny since they're simply two completely different kinds of WR. I think at least some of how they line up will be situational. Rogers, drops aside, seems more likely to make the traffic catch while Moore is a far better vertical threat.

Zach is interesting. There were some pretty ragged threads about Austin's supposed speed/he's a posession reciever/yadda yadda. I'm not sure how many people are aware of this but the TSSAA has Zach winning the state 100m title in 10.80. That's faster than Coker won his title in '04. (10.85) Something to ponder.

I watched Zach some this past year. It is ver hard to evaluate him on offense because Lipscomb had no real threat at qb so I saw very few pass attempts come his way.

I watched him on special teams (keeping in mind his reported speed), in pads it didn't look like he had blazing up field speed. I did notice that his lateral speed when changing direction was good. He also had good field vision. I would call him more of a quick and shifty type guy than a burner.

I also heard many say he could possibly be destined to become a db. When I watched him on defense I was terribly disappointed. He seemed to wait for the contact from the ball carrier, he didn't challenge them and "take it to them", he played way to soft. The one time I did see him be aggressive and challenge the ball carrier he went in way too high and got trucked by a large rb/te. He was folded up like a wet noodle and had to shake the cobwebs out for a play or two.

Moore has caught the ball when he's been given a chance. Everytime he's given a chance to make a play he has made it. Coach Wilson knows what he brings to our O and I think he will have him working on his routes more in the offseason. His hands aren't bad and I don't know why people would trust a guy that consistently has dropped the ball more than he has caught it in traffic over Moore.

Wow, another Rogers brothers thread. Well, here's my two cents....AR shouldn't see as much time on the field this year as in years past. Zach should be redshirted. There you go. :)

absolutely, there is no way he is ready to help this team in any shape or form. I think it will be another two or three years before he will be able to contribute in any way except special teams possibly.
