The Redshirts

Off topic but despite the forum and orange everywhere in my screen every time I see this thread title I think of the poor Star Trek redshirts doomed to die in each episode of the original series rather than red shirt freshmen. Something about the way it's phrased. lol.

I like O'brien but am really curious about Hill. If I remember correctly he had good size. I hope he has a good spring and improves the coaches.

this is also the time where walk ons come out of nowhere....remember jacob carter and everyone was like WHO then he gets playing time in the fall and everyone is like wow he can catch and runs great routes

Anybody else think he will have a pretty good season? I'm not expecting Patterson numbers, but I think he's going to surprise some people.

He will step up like Zach did last year imo. Now, I don't think that Carter has as much talent as ZR, but it is reasonable to expect a decent season out of him.

Time for Baby Vols to grow and contribute. A year in weight room and dining hall has to help big time

Due to poor recruiting at certain spots, don't be surprised if freshman are starting on the OL, LB in 14

We need a sleeper to turn it on and emerge, kinda like Montori H. did (but not fizzle out later on), hopefully at DL ... or LB ... or DB.

Remember, every spring there is a "most improved" player named, maybe even more than one.
