The recruiting big picture?

The wait is over and the Vols have their coach. I know the current staff was retained by Hart to recruit in the interim. Now that CBJ has been hired, what is the process? Isn't there a down period? When is signing day? What happens next?

Dead period is.in like 6 days ... and signing day is always.first Wednesday in February

I wouldn't look for much of a splash on the recruiting trail except for wouldard.

retaining the staff was a good call. It means they are there for CBJ to evaluate and choose the winners. Hope he keeps CJG.

I just saw in another posting where CBJ is already contacting recruits. That is great news. I wasn't sure if he even could. I'd hope that by now he would have sat down with the staff to review/understand the board (both UTs and UCs), delegated out making contacts (and hopefully calling all commits and high prospects personally), and the staff is in the field and on the phones working hard. I assume nothing happens during the dead week except coaches building strategy to attack the list on day one after.
