DR put's it simply

"If they cover all of us, then we can just run the ball all day long, so it makes it a lot harder for teams to cover us and scheme for us."

This team is gonna win not just the East but the SEC.

He's right. The opposing safeties have to respect our WR's deep speed. Thus, they cannot help as much in run support. This could help the run game tremendously.

If you believe this then you're setting yourself up for a really hard fall this season. Optimism seems to be unbridled but optimism to the degree of winning the SEC is just plain crazy

Ability to win the east = ability to win the sec cg in my opinion.

If I'm a D coordinator, I play 5 DBs and make us prove we can run the ball because we haven't been able to the last 2 years.

Nah, there's good defenses out there yes, but I just don't see this offense being shut down.

See teams that are used to winning playing great defense and conservative will be out of their element against UT. This conference is not ready for what is to be unleashed by Bray and The Big Three.

We haven't been able to run the last 2 years because teams were able to stack the box since we didn't have a very imposing passing attack (and we weren't very good at running).

I don't think we'll be world beaters running the ball, but I think it's possible these backs could give us 1,800-2,000 yards rushing this season, and that should force defensive coordinators to plan accordingly and play us honestly.

There is a big difference between potentially having a good offense and being an SEC championship caliber team.

  :clapping:

People thought Neal was not a good back cause he moved to WR.

Now I hope they realize he was at WR because that was the need and his athletic ability is off the charts.

Just wait Neal is gonna blow the minds of most.

DBs are not gonna like trying to tackle him from the RB position.

It's not potentially man. This is the best offense since Auburn's shaft.

It's gonna be like Tebow in reverse.

Neal has already proven he can catch the ball he would be dangerous on a wheel route if needed

Been following the Vols since the 70's but c'mon, reality check...8 wins would have us on right track & impress recruits..I remember when fans thought Majors would have us win SEC almost immediately upon his return..Had to rebuild from ground up.:hi:

This is not about Majors or DD

This is about the talent. It is so great we have such tremendous strategic as well as tactical advantage that it is once in generation.

What are you basing average on man?
