Coach didn't know he'd never beaten a #1 til Admiral mentioned it in post game interview.

How do you not LOVE this team. A coach that can't even stop coaching one of his best players even while doing the press conference, a senior leader that just had a career day and acts like it was just another game, and one of the best players in the country who can only talk about how good the rest of the guys on his team are.

Last year these guys learned how to play as a team. This year they are learning how to not be denied. These guys can beat anyone in the country and will probably go down as the best team in Tennessee history.

It's definitely what we needed as a university and fanbase. We are all a little beat up after the last decade of coaching carousels in Football and Basketball......but we have found the magic on the hardwood. I appreciate these young men reminding us of why we are all proud to be VFLs.
