The Pop Culture Trivia Thread

[Regulator]

I haven't seen a thread covering all things Pop Culture. Perhaps there's a reason for that and this thread will crash and burn. Anyway here are the guidelines:

1-Post a quote, name a character, set a scene, give a fact, ask a quesiton about, etc. from/in/about a movie/song/actor/band/tv show/commercial, etc.

2-Try to avoid obvious facts/quotes/lines, etc. that everybody, or most everybody, would know, such as Dirty Harry Callahan said "Go ahead. Make my day." Everybody knows "I've fallen, and I can't get up!" is from LifeAlert. In short, avoid easy stuff.

3-If you so wish, you can post the category from which your trivia comes.

3-Y'all know the drill from here. Post the answer, then post the next piece of trivia.

Dang Pooch. I enjoy the old in-out and some Ludwig Van as much as anybody but there's noway I'd know the author off the top of my head. Tried reading it once but flipping back and forth to the glossary got tiresome.
