The play you will remember for 2007?

The punt return by DeSean Jackson was a pretty big play for the VolNation. A total deflator after a summer of some hope.

the pick six by berry in the FL game is memorable, in an otherwise forgetable game. and there were some highlight worthy plays in the GA game as well.

I think I'll remember the 48 receptions DJ Hall had against us.

it is hard to really look back and find memorable moments in an otherwise good season considering that we lost to what turned out to be a pretty bad Alabama team 41-17 and what turned out to be a pretty bad Cal team as well.

i can deal with the FL loss, i've been doing that for years. but those other two really stick out looking back.

just as so, the GA win now looks much much better than it did originally, as does the Miss St. game.

As much as I would like to be positive...the play that will remain in my mind til the third October of 08 is bama's on side kick...puke!:eek:hmy:

Now on a positive note, E. Berrys plays against socaro, I had a room full of people looking at me like I was an idiot (they are my wife's friends) and I went nuts when Berry made his plays to preserve (my opinion) a very nail biting opportunity to win a game. In fact most positive notes start with "When Eric Berry...":dance2:

Probably our best win actually. Great game.

I thought the prolonged Kentucky game, the defense made great plays to come up and preserve the victory. Especially after Ainge got picked and all KY needed was a FG.

:lolabove:...Miss St ? Georgia won a BCS game 41-10 !!!!
the reality is, when you look back at the schedule, when we played MSU at MSU, no one knew what to make of them, and we got a W in their house, they proceeded to go to KY beat them and beat Bama at home and and MSU. i don't think anyone expected MSU to win more than 4 games.

so, looking back, that game proved to be much bigger than it originally was thought to be considering how they finished.

that said, i still think GA was the biggest W, hands down. MSU is still 2nd on the list.

but everybody knew how big that FG block at KY was, immediately. Almost felt like Stoerner's fumble.

most positive-blocked FG in 2nd OT at Kentucky
most negative- pick six against LSU in SECCG

Another positive that didn't turn out so great in the end would be Berry's interception against UF when he ran it all the way back.
