Just in time for the holiday season, this is the thread for all pie lovers. Gentleman, get your minds out of the gutter, as this thread is for the dessert.

If you would please share your favorite pie, and any great recipes you have.

Recently, I have become enamored with buttermilk and chess pies. Since these are prominent in the south, any reviews are appreciated. Can't wait to try 'em both.

For the time being, my favorite pie is a tie between pecan and french silk.

I especially enjoy the pecan pie from the armadillo palace in Houston. Delicious.
