Has any else noticed the pace that our beloved Vols play...I do not get it...They play with NO intensity at all and no sense of urgency...They all walk up and down the floor ALL the time and it just looks like I hit the slow button on the DVR when I watch them...They never get back on D either...I watched Kentucky a couple of games earlier in the season and against UNC and their team speed is double what we play at and as much as it sickens me to say this, but they just might kick the crap out of us twice this year...Looks like Bruce is ok with this also because he has done nothing to change it...I really think we might be in trouble...Say it isn't so!:no::no:

Alright, the sky isn't falling. It's been three days since the loss, the 24 hour rule is over. I think everyone in Big Orange Country is disappointed in our play that game. Some of us have been disappointed in how we looked ever since the ECU game, but luckily we played some cupcakes and pulled out wins. Our play has looked unmotivated, on offense and especially on defense. This isn't a new development with these players. It's the tenth game of the season and the SEC is down this year. We're more than likely going to make the tournament, but who knows how far we go after that. Let's see if Bruce finds that passion he had his first years here and can light a fire under these players butts. If he doesn't...it's going to make for a long year and probably another early exit from the Tourney.

Our players sure play like the sky isn't falling. I don't think they would run out of a house that is on fire. I like to think that they can play with the best of them but their attitude during play hasn't shown me a lot of hope with this team. When our team thinks they are better than they really are, teams like USC are going to continue to beat us. They need to go out on the court and play like they are always the underdog.

Attitude and mentality are definitely this team's problems, therefore I agree. The problem is NOT talent, no one can say we are not one of the most TALENTED teams in the Conference if not the country. Chism COULD be a monster down low. Hopson COULD be a dominant scorer if he did more than float the perimeter. And Tyler...well I'm not sure what Tyler's problem is this year but he's lost some fire. I would say the ONLY position we lack elite talent is at PG. We have the talent, just no one to push these kids to their potential it seems like.

They play fast when they're playing a lesser team that they can dunk on without the possibility of eating it. So they can stick their chest out and yell so everyone can see it was a "ME" play. Case and point Scotty Hopson yelling after his dunk against USC when they were 25 or so down. I bet the USC players laughed at him before they told him to look at the scoreboard. "FRONTRUNNERS" with no CLASS.

The pains of a flex offense...not the same transition that made Jujuan and Lofton fun to watch
