why? because it means Alabama will remain an easily beatable cupcake? Fulmer and Co. have gotten soft over the years because of the weakness of it's oldest, most bitter rivalry. It used to be that Alabama stood in the way of an SEC Title, now it's Florida. Since Fulmer has no idea how to beat Florida on a consistent basis, he's content to beat a weak Alabama team.

A strong 'Bama should bring out the best in UT, so I hope Saban does take the offer.

He's not much at beating Saban either (1-3).

A strong Bama will only further emphasize how far down the hill we have slid.

The only upside to Saban taking the Bama job is the increased liklihood that Fulmer will get fired once he starts losing to them again.
