I almost think i would rather head into the tourney with a loss than say a 9 or 10 game winning streak. How many times have we seen teams enter the tournament on a long streak to see it busted. Losses are inevitable so i'd rather take the L now than say next week..
I absolutely hate this point of view. Not saying it's wrong, but just hate hearing that argument.
Losses don't really tend to be good for anyone this late. Ask Florida how their SEC Tourney losses treated them. Wait....nevermind, they didn't have any.
Nope. This team had been headed down since the Memphis game. The Vanderbilt loss was supposed to wake them up. I hope this one will. But it is not a good sign. At all.
Wow, talk about a fatalistic viewpoint. Step away from the ledge, my friend.
Arkansas had a crazy good shooting game and they were a miracle-ish shot away from losing.
We have 29 wins for a reason.

You do realize we shot better than them, right.

are you kidding me? If they seed us as a two in Charlotte with UNC, I'll kiss whoever is standing near me. As it is, we're likely the top 2 seed and will be paired with the weakest 1 seed. That's an ugly matchup with KU.People don't seem to realize that it's not the seed itself that's important, but the matchups that seed provides that are important. For us a #1 seed would have meant that we would not have to play UNC or UCLA until the Final Four at the earliest. Now seeing as we will likely fall to a #2 seed, that means that while we'll possibly be playing closer to home, we are more likely to end up in the same region as UNC, and that's what makes this loss absolutely devastating.
