The One Thing I dont like about Ramar....

Ramar will settle down and he'll be a great point guard to have. Sure, his shots are a little wild sometimes, but he's definitely figuring it out. He's starting to understand his role on this team.

I love his driving ability though, he has that instinct. C.J. Watson was a good point for us, but I always thought that he could have driven to the basket more. Once Ramar gets the wild shots under control and realizes that he doesn't have to do as much as he thinks, he's going to be fun to watch.

He can flat out beat people off of the dribble and we have lacked that for a while. He adds a dimension of pressure to the defense that we should capitalize on for his entire career.

I'm just trying to throw out the bath water here. I'm satisfied with the baby, just hate the growing pains. Lastly, if you're going to handle the rock with any regularity - MAKE YOURSELF A COMPETENT FREE THROW SHOOTER.

I can appreciate that he wants the ball, BUT I can't imagine that the UT staff wanted him with the ball once it crossed half court at the very end. Moreover, we could not have wanted him with the ball two possessions prior when he was fouled (he's a 66% FT shooter).

I think he will be a difference maker in the end, but we don't want him with the ball at the end of games at this point in time.

Actually the article I saw in the paper made a point of saying Pearl didn't call a time out so RS could drive to the basket before the defense set up and he did. He just missed the shot and then we missed a tip.

If you see me comment earlier, I talked about some coaches that subscribe to that philosophy, but most will give it up if their ballhandlers continue to make poor choices or do not get the ball in the hands of the best option at that time.
