Let's not focus on them, let's focus on us. We're heading in the right direction. This staff showed a lot today. We'll be in EVERY game against anyone, even when we're extremely outmatched.

^^ also want to point out that he predicted 45-3 Florida, and has since retracted that statement claiming "a win is a win"

Let's recap.

5-7 last year.

1-2 this year.

I am guessing 15 passes thrown? They lost to the National Champions 23-13. There were at least four runs on 3rd and 10 or more. Tennessee isn't that bad and Florida isn't that great. A real quarterback and Tennessee wins that game.

When almost every media source, gator, BAMMER fan in the country said FL would not only cover the 27.5 win by 40+.

FL not winning by 30+ was a TN moral victory...

5-7 last year... our quarterback is Crompton. What should we expect? I expect to lose everytime I see him drop back to pass.

Your expectations would fall too if you couldn't pass the ball and had to take on the #1 team in the nation in their house. I hate moral victories, but I'm proud of our team today.

Hey I am damn proud of our guys standing toe to toe with the national champions with a rebuilding squad....I see domination over florida in the future...Kiffin proved he can coach with anybody today.

As thin as Fulmer left us with a subpar QB? Absolutely.

We're not playing for championships this year. We knew that coming into the season. We're playing for the next 2-3 years.

Prepare for a physical UT team when we come to Tuscaloosa. We may not win, but we're not gonna roll over either. You guys finished 6-6 under Saban his first year and prepared for the second. That's what we're doing right now.

I for one hope that Florida wins the National Championship. Of all the SEC teams, I think they have the best chance and I want the SEC to dominate. That said, I think we can say we gave them all they wanted.

I think the fact that immediately following the game the only talk from CBS and ESPN was 100% focused on Tennessee and the effort truly shows why Tennessee fans are happy with a close loss in the swamp.

When you know that your team is severely handicapped at QB, and every pundit is predicting a beatdown, a 10 point loss to the NC team that has 22 returning...it shuts up a lot of people and mean's all those yahoos that bet "easy" money on that game....lost money, easy. :)
