I think Neyland is pretty much out. From all reports the stadium construction wont be finished until right before next season.

Finley Stadium about 25,000 plus standing room

Kiffin is doing a great job so far. Things are getting exciting. I may try and attend the O&W game next year. I have never been that interesting to trying to make the trip but this next year may be different. Bama got the NCAA record for attendance at a spring game earlier this year. It would be interesting to see if UT can get the record back.

The thing about it not being at Neyland is that where will the meet and greet be? I love going to UT's campus too and just walking around. This is kind of a bummer.

Looks like no O&W game this year for me. Went last year and had some fun.

I actually got sunburned at that game. Sadly, it was mostly cloudy for most of the time, and it was raining right after the end of the game.

Hamilton said Neyland was the only place they were even considering at this point. They are going to try and have it there if all possible. I read that on rivals.

has anyone actually confirmed it won't be in knoxville? isn't the construction just on the west side upper deck anyway? couldn't they just close that part down and have the rest of the stadium open for fans?

I am not sure 100% thats it will not be in Neyland. The only reason why I say that is a "higher up" I work with who owns a skybox and is a large contributor to the university told me so. He said from his sources that the game will not be in Neyland and that Nashville/Chattanooga are options. I take all of that with a grain of salt until I read something for proof.
