Yeah I agree. The speed differential is also so great you could see players identify it and have time to sit back and barrel it up.

Don't guess you heard the announcer tell the exit velo of the balls that were put in play .? When you have someone just as good ready to go it seems like the right thing to do. Simply because Karen knew we would have trouble scoring enough runs to support her. If you have the bullpen ready you don't wait until it's too late. Of course hindsight is 20/20 but that's the chance you should take.
