Old man Glasco seemed scared in his press conference after today’s L to our Lady Vols. He knows UCLA is going to be a really tough matchup. Canady is not as good this year as she was last year (not even close imo), and UCLA knows Terry well (obviously). They are an extremely dangerous offensive team and they had today off. I think Glasco knows he might be in deep 💩💩.

It wouldn't surprise me if UCLA wins but UCLA has subpar pitching.

Tinsley isn’t elite but if they get on a roll offensively (which they can certainly do) she is more than capable of pitching them to a W. Tech will start Canady. If she’s off and they have to pull her and put Terry in they’re screwed imo

I think the big issue people have with Tech (besides the tampering) is that they’ve really not done anything in this sport to be as arrogant as they are. Oklahoma, yes. They’ve dominated the sport for a long time. So they’ve earned the right to be arrogant (and I don’t like them either). Tech has not. At this point, they are nothing but a bunch of classless wannabes.

I agree with this. Act like you've been there before. But that's always kind of been Glasco's coaching style. When he was an assistant at Georgia those teams in the late 2000s-early 2010s had a similar demeanor and also when he was HC at Louisiana.

I still have visions of Kristin Schnake hopping around like a howler monkey at shortstop on every single defensive play.

imo, when you pay Canady that much money, you're making her bigger than the program. Putting her in the lineup is not a wise choice when she bats .209 and they have title aspirations. But something tells me she forced Glasco to do that, or those were promises he made her when she was recruited.

Canady is definitely beatable, especially by a team like UCLA with so many weapons.... but Tech fans think they can come back all the way to the Finals. So I won't celebrate until their last out.

Was glad to see her there, too. I feel like other schools' alums travel to OKC so well comparatively. Our alums are even quiet on social media. I don't get it
