This is the third time in the last 25 years that Tennessee has won multiple games in the SEC Tournament.

Vols senior Armani Moore has an 8.0 assist/turnover ratio in the SEC Tournament this week while averaging 18.0 points and shooting 60 percent.

Tennessee out-rebounded LSU 42-35 when these teams met in Knoxville Feb. 20. It was UT’s first game without Kevin Punter.

Tennessee owns a 3-3 record this season against the top four seeds in the SEC Tournament.

Rick Barnes is 33-27 (.550) in conference tournament games as a head coach.

Barnes is just the fifth coach in UT history to win two games in the SEC Tournament in his first season with the Vols—and first since Don DeVoe won two games to win the 1979 SEC Tournament championship.

Mark the seventh time the Vols have won at least three games in the SEC Tournament (the first time since 1991).

Give UT an 8-3 all-time record vs. LSU in the SEC Tournament.

Give Tennessee its second three-game win streak of the season (first since November).

Set up a semifinal meeting with either No. 8 seed Florida or No. 1 seed Texas A&M Saturday at noon.

Need one more win to really get on the national Cinderella radar.

Hate to say it but I think it ends tomorrow. I just pray we treat those seniors with class and dignity when this thing does end.
They have all been through a lot

If we get past LSU who would you rather play, Texas A&M or Florida?

Win, lose, or draw, this team has already overachieved in the tourney. Come out and play loose again and hope their legs stay with them. Barnes will have to dip into the bench if we're going to pull this one out. Let's hope bad Johnny Jones shows up again.

Yup, am proud of the team, they are playing with tenacity. Would love a win but I am afraid the legs may falter a bit, give them boys some juice and go for it coach.

Conditioning has to be a factor now...hopefully Armani can get under Simmons' skin again. We're gonna need Mostella to stay aggressive. Also, LSU is missing their 2nd leading scorer and senior leader, Keith Hornsby.

GBO!

I'm no basketball coach and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night either, but in light of the Vol's lack of height and season long struggles against the zone, why are opposing coaches still playing M to M against us? The LSU coach has a history of questionable decision making so maybe he will bring out the M to M today?

I'm hang up and listen - Go Vols!

Fortunately LSU has a history of going entire games without playing any form of defense. If that LSU team shows up, then I like our chances.

GBO!!! Pleasantly surprised the basketball Vols are still alive at this point. I'm wearing my orange, yes, to work; and hoping to survive and advance today.

I'm not feeling that good about this one, we're wore down Imo. Don't think we can handle about rough game, good thing the au was a blow out though, could be a little fresher because of it.

I'm not worried about being worn down yet. The seniors don't want their careers to end and will have something left in the tank.

Yep...playing with house money. Beating Pearl and Vandy just made my season. Hard to imagine getting past LSU given the talent they have, but I felt Vandy was near impossible as well. I don't expect a win, but I'm sure not going to count this bunch out.
